The non-profit organization Embracing Global Women invites you to attend the 2008 Celebration of Global Women on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Whitaker Center-Sunoco Performance Theater.

Since our founding in the year 2000, we have had the same mission and the same theme "Common Threads That Bind Us" as we embrace all the women of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during March, National Women's History Month. In the absence of a paid staff, consultants or endowment, each year the Celebration of Global Women has successfully increased its dedication to empowering and educating by embracing global cultural awareness and American History through entertainment that facilitates learning about every country on the globe from the eyes of women.

The 2008 Celebration of Global Women "Women in Bloom" includes our Intercontinental Breakfast, Health Initiative, Celebration program, Women's Intercontinental Legal Roundtable and our Women-of-the-World Luncheon. Until February 14, 2008, we are accepting nominations for our two undergraduate and two graduate EGW scholarships, which will be awarded at the Celebration of Global Women.
